A CLITHEROE student had a tour of the Houses of Parliament with Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans after winning a mock general election.
Year 10 Ribblesdale High School pupil Katherine Dodd took two friends Naila Shakoor and Lucy Boothman and teacher Julie Billington to London.
In 2015, Katherine claimed victory after the school held its mock general election.
As well as a tour she visited the Supreme Court and had tea on the terrace.
A spokesman for the school said: "This was a great way of experiencing the power of Parliament and being able to find out what MPs really do on a daily basis.
"Katherine and her friends thoroughly enjoyed the day and would like to thank Nigel Evans and his team for their kind support and time.
"Maybe one day Katherine might be doing the tour."
