A CHRISTMAS tree festival will be held at St Bartholomew’s Church, Chipping, from Thursday to Sunday, December 6 to 9.
The event begins on Thursday, with a special service at 7.30pm.
On Friday and Saturday the church will open from 10am to 4pm, and on Sunday it will open from noon to 4pm.
There will be at least 16 trees all decorated for the festive season, and a memory tree to remember loved ones, and a wish tree for the children.
The event is being directed by florist Ann Seed. Father Christmas will be at the church on Saturday, from 2pm to 4pm. There will be mulled wine, mince pies, shortbread, tea and coffee available. For information, call 01254 826438.
