Three injured in Billington crash

THREE people were taken to hospital after they were involved in a car crash this morning.
Painter Wood in Billington, off Whalley Old Road, was closed for more than an hour following the accident involving a Volvo and a Peugeot at around 8.30am.
Paramedics treated a woman at the scene for minor injuries and two men were taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital suffering from whiplash.
The road has now been re-opened.
