Cleckheaton were, in the words of their spokesman Alan Bentley “appalling” in the 29-10 North One East derby at Old Crossleyans last Saturday.
The Moorenders have only won one of their last six matches, and Bentley said: “We always seem to fall away after Christmas by losing fitness and focus.”
Cleckheaton, who have dropped to fifth, have Iain Gordon back at home to leaders Percy Park on Saturday.
