THREE vehicles had to be recovered after a collision outside the Foxfield Hotel in Whalley Road, Billington, at around 3.10pm.

The silver Fiat Panda, blue Ford Ka and blue Vauxhall Corsa all received substantial damage during the crash.

Blackburn duty inspector Bob Eaton said: “The road was blocked and the drivers were shook up. The cause of the incident is unknown, but no one was seriously injured.

"An ambulance was requested for two of the drivers, and one was removed from the car on a spinal board as a precaution. They were taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital. "
