Three treated after car crash near Sawley

The A59 was closed yesterday after a two-car crash near Sawley.
Police said one person was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital while two others were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident happened around 12.30pm.
The road was closed for around four hours while accident investigation work was completed.
The smash caused traffic problems in the area as diversions were put in place.
