Two-car smash closes A59 at Sawley

The A59 has been closed after a two-car crash near Sawley in the Ribble Valley this afternoon.

One person was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital while two were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident happened around 12.30pm and the road remains closed.

Bet it was caused by someone bungling the overtaking of a 40 Mph Leg-Iron ????
