High-flying firm to appear at Farnborough Air Show

A HIGH-flying East Lancashire technology firm is exhibiting its latest storage and distribution system for aircraft manufacturers at the Farnborough Air Show.
Hurst Green Plastics will be exhibiting its new TripFlag system at Farnborough today – the latest development of its TwinBin range, which recently saw the company awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Innovation The firm’s products have already created opportunities for many world-class aerospace companies, achieving impressive cost reductions, while significantly improving stock control.
Its innovative approach to business has recently been rewarded with the prestigious ‘Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation’; one of only two companies in the Lancashire to receive the award this year.
On behalf of the Queen, Lord Shuttleworth, the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire officially presented the Whalley-based company with a cut glass rosebowl, at a ceremony held at BAE Systems Samlesbury – the first location of the unique inventory control management system.
