Ribble Valley charity group nears fund-raising target

AN East Lancashire ladies’ group is edging ever closer to reaching its £1million fundraising target.
Members of the Ribble Valley and White Rose Group have been collecting cash for Cancer Research UK to help them fund research into children’s cancers.
The fundraising will culminate in a 24-hour Relay for Life at Broughton Hall, in Skipton, on September 22. The group is only £70,000 from its target and is looking for more people to take part in the challenge.
