MP Nigel Evans meets Archbishop of Canterbury

RIBBLE Valley MP Nigel Evans has met with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams.

He said: “His Grace and I both attended Dynevor School in Swansea and now we are parliamentary colleagues so it was particularly satisfying to meet with him here at West-minster.

“We discussed a wide range of issues, including reform of the House of Lords.

“The Archbishop is an intellectual powerhouse not only at the centre of the biggest church on these islands but also at the centre of our democracy. I look forward to meeting with him again.”

Mmmm, cucumber sarnies with the Bishop, how quaint and completely pointless! It's a pity Nig cant find the same time to visit his local area and address some of the issues ie un checked house building in Whalley and the lack of proper policing in the valley . But hey ho Nig you get your priorities right just as I and many people in Whalley will at the next election! Hey why dont you waste some more time and have a pizza with the Pope? Brilliant!
