A TOWN will host the final day of a jazz festival today.

Hundreds of people have travelled to Clitheroe to celebrate the ninth annual Ribble Valley Jazz Festival this May bank holiday weekend.

The event has been showcasing some of the 'best in Jazz' spanning a range of genres.

It has brought together performers from across the world to the pubs, clubs and venues in and around the town.

The Grand remains the headline venue for the festival. A swingtime big band will perform on the stage later today while a 'Deep Cabaret' band will perform at the United Reformed Church, in Castle Gate.

Tickets can be bought at the Grand Venue box office, in York Street, or via www.thegrandvenue.co.uk
