OPENING hours for a library which will reopen in a village next week have been announced.
The official reopening of Whalley Library will take place Monday 29 January at 9am.
Following the closure of 26 of the county's 73 libraries by Lancashire County Council towards the end of 2016, a new administration has decided to re-open as many libraries as possible.
Opening times for Whalley Library, which will be the ninth to reopen in the county, will be on Mondays from 9am to 1pm, Tuesdays from 9am to 7pm, Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm, Fridays from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm
It will be closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
