One person taken to hospital after three-car crash on A59
A WOMAN was taken to hospital after an accident in Clitheroe this afternoon.
Police were called to the stretch of road on the A59 near McDonalds in Clitheroe where a grey Honda, Blue Hyundai and Silver Toyota were involved in a crash at 12.15pm.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "One lane of the road was closed to ease traffic.
"It is believed that one of the cars hit the central reservation.
"An ambulance was at the scene and a woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"The council were notified to try to clear the road."
