A major road in the Ribble Valley has re-opened after it was closed due to flooding.
The A59 Longsight Road was closed in both directions between Park Gate Row and A666 Whalley Road.
The road remained closed until morning so an assessment of the road could be made in daylight.
Lancashire Police said: "Just after midnight we were told of a flood.
"We contacted highways and we blocked the road from Langho heading towards Clitheroe.
"The road block was removed at 2.55am and has now reopened."
