OVER 200 art enthusiasts painted the town red when they took part in a Clitheroe art walk.
They visited some of the town’s most popular galleries, popping into cafes, pubs and restaurants along the way.
The event was the brainchild of Ribble Valley Arts, a collective of artists and creative practitioners coordinated by Ribble Valley Borough Council.
The walk visited eight galleries, including the council’s award-winning Platform Gallery, Longitude Gallery, the Old Bakehouse Gallery and the Steward’s Gallery at Clitheroe Castle.
The walk was such a success that further walks are planned for Friday, November 17 and Sunday, March 25.
Further details are available from the Clitheroe Visitor Information Centre on 01200 425566.
