A ROW over domestic chores ended with a 53-year-old Clitheroe man being taken away from his home by police.
Blackburn magistrates heard David Smith claimed he wasn't arrested until he asked one of the officers for his collar number and then tried to take a picture of him.
Smith, of Bawdlands, Clitheroe, admitted a breach of the peace. He was bound over in £100 to keep the peace for six months.
The court heard police were called by the defendant' partner, Stephanie Bristol, who said he was being abusive.
"He was drunk and was given certain advice," said Miss Akhtar. "When he didn't comply he was arrested."
Aftab Bakhat, defending, said both parties had been drinking and there was a row over domestic chores.
"He went upstairs and was tiling when the police came and took him away," said Mr Bakhat. "There was no mention of arrest until he asked for the officer's collar number and took out his phone to take a picture. The officer snatched it off him, he objected and he was arrested."
