A TOTAL of £9,000 has been raised for the family of Michelle Kiss who died in the Manchester Arena bombing.
A memorial walk was held last month in honour of the mum-of-three who was from Whalley.
Organised by Blackburn Karate Club, Blackburn Community Sports Club and the Hare and Hounds pub, they were hoping to raise £3,000 via a just giving page.
Describing it as 'truly astonishing', a spokesman for the Michelle Kiss Memorial Walk said: "First of all we'd like to thank everybody involved in making this such a special event.
"Tony (Michelle's husband) and the family will receive all of this money and it's testament to your generosity."
The justgiving page will now be removed.
