PLANS have been submitted to develop 36 new homes in Clitheroe.

Developer Prospect Homes is proposing to build the homes on land off Union Street in Low Moor.

If approved, the development will comprise a range of two to four-bedroom homes, as well as public open space and landscaping.

Neil Waddington, Managing Director of Prospect Homes, said: “Our proposed development off Union Street in Low Moor will provide much-needed new housing for the area in a sustainable location just a mile from Clitheroe town centre.

Of the 36, 25 will be sold on the open market, while 11 with three earmarked as affordable housing. Of those three are for elderly people.

Prospect will also make financial contributions towards public open space and education in Clitheroe.
