A SUPERMARKET raises more than £600 for a cancer foundation.
Shoppers at Clitheroe’s Tesco supermarket helped to raise £646.56 in a two-day store collection.
They helped by donating money and buying merchandise supplied by Rosemere Cancer Foundation, such as pens, pin badges and dotted pads.
The cancer foundation has supported world class cancer treatment including eight hospitals in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
The group hope to raise £1.5 million to fund a number of projects at Rosemere Cancer Centre to celebrate the 20 years since the centre first opened.
