CELEBRITY chefs are to cook up a treat at the Royal Lancashire show in August.
Four renowned chefs based in East Lancashire will perform live cooking demonstrations at the three-day event, which runs from August 11-13.
They are Nigel Haworth and Lisa Goodwin-Allen of Northcote in Langho, Tom Parker of the White Swan at Fence and Victor Yu, who owns the Yu and You Chinese restaurant at Copster Green with his brother Vinny.
Mr Haworth is chef patron at Northcote, while Ms Goodwin-Allen has the role of executive head chef there.
Other highlights at the show, at Salesbury Hall, Ribchester, will include a showcase for local food and drink, with celebratory real ales, traditional ciders and award-winning artisan foods.
