POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision near Bolton by Bowland which left a Blackburn man with multiple injuries.
The incident happened at around 10.30am on Sunday, May 22, when a motorcycle was travelling along Forest Becks Brow and failed to negotiate a left hand bend and collided with a Volvo C70.
The 62-year-old motorcyclist from Blackburn sustained injuries to his spine, ribs, pelvis and leg and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
His condition has been described as poorly but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Sgt Claire Pearson, of the road policing unit, said: "The motorcyclist has sustained some serious injuries as a result of this collision which happened on a rural road.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed what happened.”
