Flood warning in place after heavy rain put hundreds of homes at risk
A FLOOD warning is in place in Clitheroe after heavy rain put hundreds of homes at risk.
The Environment Agency issued the warning for Pimlico Brook, near Clitheroe Cricket, Bowling and Tennis Club, at 4pm yesterday.

Surrounding streets on flood watch include Longsight Avenue, Chatburn Road, Warwick Drive and Dorset Drive.
A spokesman for the Environment Agency said last night: “More rain is forecast for this evening which will cause river levels to rise further. The main band of rain is expected to move away southwards from around midnight. Drier conditions should follow."
