A PLAN for a new 275-home development in Clitheroe has been submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council.
Previous proposals for 345 homes on the Waddow View site off Waddington Road, submitted by a local consortium, were rejected at appeal in January.
The consortium, made up of Clitheroe Auction Mart, the Huntroyde Estate, John Taylor and Sarah and Samantha Howard, held a consultation period last month on the revised plans.
A spokeswoman for the group said a decision was hoped for in the next 13 weeks.
Coun Kevin Horkin said a public meeting, which will be attended by MP Nigel Evans, would be held on Saturday, July 26 so that local people could discuss the matter
