THE second in a series of walks led by the RSPB is set to be held aimed at revealing the moorland wildlife at the United Utilities Bowland Estate.
The seven walks, which will be led by Jude Lane from the bird charity, will take place over the next four months.
The second guided walk of the season will be held on Saturday with further events on May 5 and 16, June 7 and 27 and July 4.
The United Utilities Bowland Estate used to be England’s stronghold for hen harriers but the birds are now so rare they have not bred there for the past two seasons.
All of the walks are five miles long and begin at 9.30am.

All money raised will be put directly back into the conservation of hen harriers in Northern England.
