Ban animal circuses, says MP

DARWEN and Rossendale MP, Janet Anderson has signed an early day motion (EDM) in parliament calling for a ban on animals in travelling circuses.
The EDM has been signed by 133 MPs and calls for the measure to be added into the Animal Welfare Bill currently in the House of Lords.
Other local MPs who have signed the motion are Lindsay Hoyle, member for Chorley, and Hyndburn's Greg Pope.
