PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson has welcomed youth volunteering charity vInspired launching nominations for its annual national awards.

Now in its 5th year, the awards, in association with RBS Early Careers, are the biggest of their kind, celebrating the achievements and dedication of young volunteers and the youth workers who support them.

Mr Stephenson said: “Young volunteers in Pendle do so much to improve the area we live in. I am delighted they have chance to be recognised and encouraged. If you know someone who deserves to be nominated for a young volunteers award, now it the time to do it.”

Winners will get a star-studded awards ceremony at the Indig02 in London on March 27 next year, with performances from some of the best music talent.
