PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson showed his support for the fight against polio last week.
Mr Stephenson joined the High Commissioners of Nigeria and Pakistan and the Afghanistan ambassador to the UK at a historic event in Parliament.
Mr Stephenson said: βIt is vital to continue to support efforts towards the eradication of polio, a disease which has severely affected some Pendle residents in the past, and which continues to do so for many of the poorest people in the world. We have a real chance to eradicate this disease once and for all, and make a difference to many millions of lives.β
