A VILLAGE community centre could be handed over to residents under a Pendle Council plan.
Trawden Forest Parish Council is to set up a steering group to discuss the benefits of taking over control of the centre from the borough council.
It would mean the centre being run by a committee of residents who could register as a charity, allowing more opportunities to raise cash and making the building exempt from rates payments.
