A HOBBY farmer could be asked to remove several ‘unsightly’ obstructions from a field in Trawden.
Council enforcement officials have been investigating field number 7142, near Bough Gap Farm, Keighley Road, since May.
They have been concerned about concrete rubble, outdoor play equipment, wooden posts and a trailer left on the land.
Council planners say that the situation is potentially having a harmful effect on the Trawden Forest Conservation Area.
Three horses as well as sheep are also kept on the land but there are no outstanding issues with the animals.
Councillors on the Colne area committee will be asked to consider ordering the owner to remove the items, when they meet tonight at the town hall.
