A CHURCH in rural Pendle has been placed up for sale with a price tag of around £135,000.
The former Cottontree Methodist Church, near Trawden, is on the market with commercial estate agents Petty.
Investors would have the church hall, two adjoining rooms, an entrance hall, the vestry and a kitchen and toilets at their disposal.
The congregation now meets for services at Trawden Community Centre.
Originally the church building was used as a junior school.
