Pendleside Hospice lets the love shine on

PEOPLE remembered lost loved ones at the annual Light Up A Life service at Pendleside Hospice yesterday.

The campaign gives people the opportunity to dedicate a coloured light to the memory of friends and relatives.

All the lights are then displayed around the outside of the hospice building over the Christmas period.

Kaye Bartle, hospice fundraising manager, said: “Christmas can be difficult for those who have lost someone close, particularly if this is the first year without that special person that lit up your life.

“Light Up A Life is an opportunity to remember them in a positive way as well as helping the hospice carry on its important work.”
