Jail warning for Nelson child attack duo

TWO women who took part in an unprovoked attack on a child have both been warned they are facing jail.
Danute Rakauskaite, 51, of Fir Street, and Ingrida Gedminaite, 31, of Netherfield Road, Nelson, both admitted assault causing actual bodily harm, at Burnley Crown Court.
They were bailed until February 16 for sentencing.
Judge Beverley Lunt, who said the injuries to the victim were ‘dreadful’ told the pair: “This is a very serious matter.
It seems to me the most likely sentence is one of imprisonment and you should both prepare yourself for that.”
