Fir Street, Nelson
A RUBBISH fire was 'deliberately' started in a derelict house.
Fire crews were called to the incident which involved a large quantity of rubbish in the back garden of a unused property on Fir Street, Nelson at around 12.30am.
Officers said there was no damage to the empty home and no-one was there when they arrived.
A fire spokesman said: "It had been deliberately set on fire."
