A person had initially been feared trapped in a house fire in Castle Street, Nelson last night
A PERSON was initially believed to have been trapped in a house fire last night.
Two fire crews from Burnley and one crew from Nelson attended the blaze at a mid-terraced house in Castle Street, Nelson.
But when firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that no-one was inside the building.
Firefighters used two hosereel jets to put out the fire which broke out at around 9.45pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
