A HERITAGE centre are set to hold a special fundraising event next month.
Friends of Pendle Heritage have organised a party in the 18th century walled garden at Pendle Heritage Centre, Park Hill, Nelson.
Pam Worrell, a committee member of the heritage, said: “We are holding a fundraising event at the centre and we are asking people to give donations to support the fabric of the building.”
Visitors will be able to enjoy strawberry teas and look at the various plant stalls and flower displays on show.
Admission is free and the event will take place on August 6 from noon to 3:30pm.
