Teenager breaks his leg during collision with car
A TEENAGER suffered a broken leg after being hit by a car earlier today.
The 18-year-old was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for specialist treatment to head injuries he also received at around 10.40am.
Police said the accident involved a silver Volvo S40 and the cyclist in Chapel House Road, in Nelson.
Nobody was arrested in the immediate aftermath, a spokesman said.
