The state-of-the-art building in Every Street opened its doors to pupils in September 2014 after the school moved from its previous home in Norfolk Street, Nelson which was erected in 1904.

Comprising of an admin and classroom block, the project included substantial external works, including playgrounds, outdoor classrooms, a walled garden, pond and nature study area.

The building also features a unique entrance to the school library which appears to be made out of books that are more than two metres tall, painted by local artist, Steve Hutton.
