LANCASHIRE County Council has agreed to conduct a speed survey on Town House Road, in Nelson.
The issue was brought to the county council’s attention by Pendle councillor Tommy Cooney on behalf of local residents.
Coun Cooney said: “MP Andrew Stephenson and I recently ran a residents’ survey across Marsden to find out local issues. We were astonished by the number of residents complaining about speeding on this stretch of road. We read reports of some very dangerous driving.
“LCC has listened to our complaints and now they will be conducting a speed survey to find out more information.”
