A DAY of jousting, sword fighting and medieval frolics marked the official opening of the Whitegate building at Euravia Aviation, Colne Road, Kelbrook.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the launch of Euravia, which repairs gas turbine engines and employs about 50 people at its Kelbrook site.
The medieval displays were provided by The Knights of Middle England and were put on by the company to entertain local people on Sunday.
Lord Shuttleworth unveiled a plaque in the building to commemorate its unveiling.
