Body of man found in van in rural Pendle

THE BODY of a man thought to be in his early 20s was discovered in a van parked in a country lane off Colne Road, in Sough, this afternoon.
A walker made the discovery at around 12pm on Tuesday and police were called to the scene.
Detective Inspector Stuart Dixon said: “We have attended the scene today and are happy there are no suspicious circumstances and that it is just a tragic incident.
“Work is now ongoing to trace the man’s next of kin.”
