THREE new guides have been launched to help Burnley and Pendle residents prepare for floods.
The advice documents, written by experts at the Environment Agency (EA), offer guidance on preparation and dealing with floods.
The Lancashire Telegraph revealed last week how EA bosses fear floods could cause £360m worth of damage in Burnley, Colne and Nelson, and affect up to 2,230 households.

It is also thought extreme weather, exacerbated by global warming, could hit the rest of East Lancashire.
The guides outline steps to take when preparing for a flood, how to stay safe during a flood and how clear up after a flood, claim insurance and guard against future freak weather.
Jeff Lawrenson, the EA's regional flood risk manager, said: "We strongly advise that every household in a flood risk area has their own plan of action."
