Stars lined up for Colne R'n'B festival

THE stage is set for the return of the Great British R&B Festival coming to Colne.

Tickets are now on sale for the weekend long event, set for August Bank Holiday at The Muni.

East Lancashire will once again be a Mecca for music lovers from all over the world and for a limited time only weekend-long tickets are available at discounted rates.

The International stage features sets from the likes of Billy Boy Arnold, Steve Cropper, Walter Trout (pictured), Andy Fairweather Low, Linda Gail Lewis, Dr Feelgood, Albert Lee, Ruby Turner, and Nuno Mindelis to name just a few.

The Great British R&B Festival is well established as one of the foremost events in both the UK and International festival calendar.

Each year the event attracts visitors in their thousands who come to soak up the atmosphere and watch world renowned acts on their doorstep.

Over the years the festival has gained a reputation for showcasing the finest R&B talents in a fun-filled, family-friendly atmosphere.

Calling itself more than just a music festival but an experience.

Last year's event was a sell out so event organisers are advising early bookings to avoid disappointment.

  • The Great British R&B Festival - Colne Muni, 22-25 August. Day tickets start from £20 and weekend tickets from £85. Call the Box Office on 01282 661234 or book online at the website below.
