A CHARITY rugby match raised £252 for Pendleside Hospice.
An under-16s rugby league team, comprising players picked by coaches in Pendle, took part in a challenge match against Skipton
The event was a big success with Skipton going on to win the game.
All proceeds will go to benefit Pendleside Hospice.

The hospice, based at Reedley, provides care to local people suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses.
The cost of providing care increases year on year in response to demand for services. Current annual running costs exceed £2.4 million, with more than £1.6 million having to be raised from fundraising events and donations.
