River peril for car passengers

Icy conditions caused a vehicle to slip off a road and hang over a river.

The black Renault Clio, which had five people in the car at the time slid off Slipper Hill, Foulridge, around 10.30pm last night.

No one was injured. The car is being recovered from the site this morning.

it was not the ice that caused the car incident, but the way it was drive, there are no such things as accidents they are incidents caused by carlessness and stupidity
