A REVAMPED playground in Foulridge has been officially unveiled, with children who gave their views on what play equipment they’d like giving the first go.
Mayor Coun Tony Beckett cut the ribbon at the Alma Avenue playground on Monday, with children from St Michael’s All Angels CE Primary School and Foulridge Youth Club in attendance/
The playground is suitable for very young children, with toddler swings, a playhouse and springy animals.
For older children and teenagers, there is a Cosmo Spacenet on which to climb, a zip wire and a basket swing.
All the equipment is made of wood and blends into the surroundings.
Russell Leisure carried out the work at the playground.
