Last year, a man in Accrington was hounded to death because of false accusations by evil, conniving tossers like this woman! What drugs are you on. This women cried rape, which was not the case. I feel really sorrry for the people that have been raped. This does not help them at all.

I've actually had a friend who has had his life completely ruined by such an incident: lost his job, wife divorced him - removing his children from his home, publicly humiliated and then finally jailed. After the complete and utter destruction of his life it was discovered that his accuser (actually a male student) has constructed the entire incident as a "prank" - my friend spent a little over 250 days in jail. As he was simply detained (due to his income loss he could not bail himself out of custody) and released upon his acquittal, there was no legal recourse whatsoever - and even though he was found innocent, he was still treated as a rapist. That was 5 and half years ago, he is now living at his moms house, unable to secure any employment, and is, for lack of a better definition, mentally screwed. Good old American Justice...

I think this stupid and selfish woman should ahve got a longer sentance.

We have very low conviction rates for rape in this country compared with many European countries. Rapists often get away with it to create yet more victims in the future.

Ms Wilkinson's victims therefore do not stop at poor Mr Lord. Next time a genuine rape victim in the area plucks up the courage to come forward she will have a harder time being believed.
