A COFFEE shop is set to open next month at Roaming Roosters’ farm shop and bistro in Fence.
The Hay Loft Coffee Room will open at the eatery on February 4, to coincide with new Monday openings.
Simon Mellin, who owns the business with brother, Nick, said: “The bistro has been packed to the rafters every day since we opened back in September, and with so many people wanting to eat our sustainable foods, there is little space for those simply wanting a barista-style coffee and cake or loose leaf tea and light snack.
“Obviously, we want to be able to cater for every person who comes to visit us, so we decided to expand the business.”
The Hay Loft Coffee Room will offer space for relaxed dining with friends and family or informal business meetings.
Simon said: “There are fabulous views to the front and rear of the first floor Hay Loft and we really think our customers will enjoy the ambience.”
The Roosters are now looking for a sous chef for both the Olde Spot Bistro and Hay Loft and forlocal staff to work in the coffee shop.
