THE Earby Clarets supporters’ group has donated £1,000 to the town’s community minibus appeal.
An appeal was launched last week to raise £50,000 to buy a replacement minibus for the local community.
John Little, chairman of the club, said: “We do a lot of fundraising through a weekly lottery we run and in the last ten years we have donated around £280,000 to good causes.
“The minibus is vital to the town. A lot of people rely on it and use it. We want to donate to local groups where possible, and this was ideal.”
