Children will benefit from clothes swap
10:23am Friday 13th July 2012 in Colne
A CHARITY clothes swap takes place in Colne tomorrow to raise money for two ill Pendle children.
The swap is at the Ambulance Hall from 3pm to 4.30pm.
Entrance is £1 and all clothes will cost 10p.
Money donated will be shared by Lottie Loo’s Get Well Wish and the Little LAMB appeal.
Lottie Loo’s Get Well Wish will use the money to pay for equipment for Charlotte Neve, seven, from Trawden who suffered a brain haemorrhage and stroke in April.
Little LAMB is in aid of 11- months-old Louie Jenkins from Colne who had both his legs amputated from below the knee after contracting meningitis in January.
Money will help buy equipment to adapt his home as he gets older, and to pay for prosthetic legs.
