STAR of The Fixer and Shameless, Jody Latham has appeared in court charged with a drunken assault and resisting arrest.
Latham, 27, is accused of assault by beating, being drunk and disorderly in a public place and resisting or obstructing police.
The defendant, of Alkincoats Road, Colne, denied the charges before Burnley magistrates yesterday.
The case was adjourned until June 1 when Latham will face trial before the court.
Last year the actor was the first celebrity to be kicked out of ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen by legendary chef Marco Pierre-White.
Earlier this year Latham, who grew up in Barrowford and has lived in Barnoldswick, starred in a Radio 4 sitcom called House on Fire.
